For my college thesis proejct I decided to combine two of my favorite elements of classic narrative cinema: dance sequences and inner dialogue.
Sometimes it can be difficult to be fully present – to be fully immersed. Other stresses, whether in or out of your control, often sweep you away down an internal rabbit hole of deep contemplation. This film, is an exploration of this phenomena: how our internal thoughts possess and control us in our day to day lives. The script melds the lines between narrative and performance – enlisting familiar scenes of coworkers, friends and professionals, with modern and improvisational dance. Through this movement we can delve deeper into our inner, and often poetic, monologues.
